1.What is the most common mode of transport in your country?

Answer: The most common mode of transport in my country are public buses and cars . Though in some big cities there are subways and trains as well but still most people use buses to commute.

2. What mode of transport do you use to get to work or school?

Answer: I always go by bus since the school I go to is not very close to my house. The bus service is pretty fast and easy since I live in a big city. Once in a while my dad also drops me to school but bus ride is cheaper than the car ride.

3.What is your favourite mode of transport and why?

Answer: My favourite mode of transport is motorbike. I would say so because it is quick and less expensive. It is also ideal for students who do not want to spend on car fuel and just need to get to school fast and easy. In addition to that, it occupies less space on the road and in the parking. I would also like to mention that riding a bike gives you a sense of freedom and control that is why is the favourite means of transport of youth.

4.What do you think are the advantages of using public buses instead of personal cars?

[Note: You need to have some general information about the advantages of the use of public buses. You can find it on the internet but also through personal observations.Let’s read the sample answer.

The main advantage that I can think of is that the use of public transport reduces traffic congestion in big cities and towns. If most of the people are driving their personal vehicles, it would create a lot of environmental pollution in addition to road congestion. Less traffic is also necessary for road safety. Besides that, if you are using buses to commute, you are free of any stresses that driving a car causes. For example you are not worried about finding parking spaces or keeping your car safe while parked. Walking to a bus stop also gives you physical exercise. But most of all it is for everyone’s interest that people use buses. The lesser the road congestion, the better the overall environment will be.
